The Resumator service is operated by Aliaksei Fezhanka, sole trader (jednoosobowa działalność gospodarcza) registered in CEIDG (Poland), trading as FZHNK ("we", "us", "our").

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our resume rewriting service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.

3. Description of Service

Resumator provides an AI-powered resume rewriting tool. We process uploaded resumes to extract text, score them against ATS criteria, and generate AI-rewritten content using third-party AI models (including Anthropic models via Google Cloud).

4. User Responsibilities and Prohibited Use

You are solely responsible for the content of the resumes you upload. You agree not to upload any documents containing malicious code, illegal content, or personal data belonging to third parties without their explicit consent.

You further agree not to use the service to:

  • Fabricate, invent, or misrepresent academic credentials, professional certifications, or employment history.
  • Generate resumes for the purpose of application fraud, identity misrepresentation, or impersonation of another person.
  • Circumvent applicant tracking systems through deceptive content (invisible text, hidden keywords, content designed solely to mislead automated screening).
  • Process resumes belonging to third parties without their explicit, informed consent.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the underlying AI prompts, models, or system internals.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts engaged in any of the above conduct without refund.

5. EU AI Act Disclosure

In compliance with Article 50 of the EU AI Act, you are hereby informed that the rewritten resume content and ATS gap analysis provided by this service are generated by Artificial Intelligence systems. While we strive for high quality, you should independently verify all generated content before using it for employment applications.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to your original resume content. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive license to use the AI-rewritten resume outputs for your own career advancement purposes.

7. Subscriptions, Billing, Auto-Renewal & Cancellation

Paid plans (PRO) are sold directly by Aliaksei Fezhanka trading as FZHNK, with payment processing handled by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. We collect EU VAT under the Polish VAT-OSS scheme. Subscription fees are charged in advance on a monthly cycle. Prices on the pricing page include applicable VAT.

Automatic renewal (EU Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 22). Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly) at the then-current published price for your selected plan, unless you cancel before the renewal date. The next renewal date and the renewal price are visible at any time on your Settings page. We will charge the payment method you provided at checkout. If your payment method fails, we will retry for up to 7 days; if all retries fail, your plan will be downgraded to Free.

Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings page in your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access to PRO features until that date and will not be charged again. To cancel before the next renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date shown on Settings. If self-serve cancellation is unavailable for your subscription, contact support@resumator.works and we will process cancellation within 1 business day. Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy.

8. EU Consumer Right of Withdrawal

EU consumers normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU and the Polish "Ustawa o prawach konsumenta". Resumator PRO is a service contract whose performance begins immediately at the consumer's express request. Before checkout you are required to tick a separate, unchecked-by-default box stating that you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge loss of the 14-day right of withdrawal under Article 16(a) of Directive 2011/83/EU. We capture and retain this consent (timestamp, IP, user agent, Stripe session ID). Once consent is given and payment is processed, no refund is issued. See our Refund Policy for the full text.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our service is provided "as is" without any warranties. We do not guarantee that using our service will result in employment, interviews, or any specific career outcome. To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable Polish or EU consumer law.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may terminate your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by Polish law. Disputes shall be resolved by the courts competent for our registered seat, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules grant you a more favorable forum. EU consumers may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in-product notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
