Refund Policy

1. Who Sells the Subscription

Subscriptions to Resumator are sold directly by Aliaksei Fezhanka trading as FZHNK (ul. Szlak 77/222, 31-153 Kraków, Poland, NIP PL9512569104). Payment processing is handled by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. We collect and remit EU VAT under the Polish VAT-OSS scheme.

2. No-Refund Policy After Service Begins

Resumator PRO is a digital service that delivers value immediately upon subscription (AI resume rewrites, ATS audit, Job Fit Reports, and PDF generation). Before completing payment, you are required to expressly consent to immediate service performance and to acknowledge waiver of the 14-day right of withdrawal under EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU Article 16(a). Once that consent is given and payment is processed, no refund is issued.

If you did not check the consent box and believe a charge was made in error, contact us within 14 days at billing@resumator.works and we will investigate.

3. EU Consumer Right of Withdrawal — Article 16(a) Waiver

EU consumers normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU (implemented in Poland as the "Ustawa o prawach konsumenta").

The statutory exception applied to this service is Article 16(a) of Directive 2011/83/EU (services fully performed with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgment of loss of the right of withdrawal), not Article 16(m) (digital content not on a tangible medium). This distinction is material: Resumator PRO is a service contract whose performance begins immediately at your request and with your prior express consent.

We capture and store your consent (timestamp, IP address, user agent, and Stripe checkout session identifier) at the moment you check the waiver box, as required by Polish consumer protection law for proof of express consent.

4. How to Request a Refund

Email us at billing@resumator.works with the email address used for purchase and the order identifier (visible in your Stripe receipt). We respond within 2 business days.

5. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are issued by us via Stripe to the original payment method. Processing typically takes 3–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer. For SEPA bank transfers, allow up to 14 business days.

6. When Refunds May Be Denied

We will decline a refund request in the following cases:

  • You checked the Article 16(a) waiver box at checkout and the subscription has been activated. This is the standard path and applies to virtually all paid customers.
  • The request is on a renewal period — cancel anytime to stop future charges; access continues until the end of the paid period.
  • Evidence of abuse, fraud, or violation of our Terms of Service (e.g., creating multiple accounts to extract free trials).
  • Chargeback initiated with your bank without first contacting us — we reserve the right to dispute chargebacks using our consent audit trail (timestamp, IP, user agent, Stripe session ID).

7. Cancellation vs. Refund

Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancel anytime from the Settings page in your dashboard.

Refund reverses a charge that has already been processed. The two are independent — cancelling does not automatically issue a refund, and requesting a refund within the guarantee window also cancels future renewals.
